It's ok to get treatment

Updated: Apr 27, 2021

Many cultures struggle with the idea of engaging in therapy. Some people fear ridicule, or being viewed as "crazy" for seeking help. The truth is we all battle with symptoms of depression and anxiety. Can you honestly say you have never felt sad, cried, had issues with overeating/undereating or never been withdrawn. If you have experienced grief that can look like depression. It's ok to not be ok and it is also ok to talk to somebody who is unbiased and can treat you with therapeutic interventions. Are you going to allow cultural stigmas to keep you complacent in your pain, grief, sadness or worry! Will you allow society to determine how you heal or our you going to fight to live your life the way you deserve to live.
